1935 (circa) use of 'U.S.S. Co.' monogrammed flap manila envelope addressed locally to W.G.Quensell (Postmaster) and sent stampless bearing a host of the different coloured TIN CAN mail cachets on the front and reverse sides. The cover is marked 'Per Monowai' which was a ship of the Union Stamp Ship Company that called at Tonga in 1935 during its summer cruise. Some edge faults but a significent important cover as it bears the very scarce dark blue on blue SHOW YOUR APPROVAL/ OF THE NEW SERVICE/USE THE AIR MAIL label on reverse tied by one of the cachets.
